Founded by two Swati professional women in 2018, our company specializes in providing comprehensive professional services which encompass the following:
- Urban and Regional Planning Services which include, preparation of Regional Development Plans, Infrastructure Projects, Town Planning Schemes, Human Settlement Scheme preparations and professional support services for approval processing, rezoning applications, and special consent applications. The company has demonstrated capabilities in data collection, socio- economic analysis, policy preparation and review as well as preparation of financial modeling options to support large national development projects.
Environmental protection and management for sustainable development;
our services include the preparation of environmental impact assessments for large scale and small development proposals, environmental profiling, the promotion of green and clean energy solutions for both public entities and private clients. The company has cumulative experience in developing and coordinating implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAs) and Comprehensive Mitigation Plans (CMP’s) for bulk infrastructure capital works in Eswatini. UrbPlan has established partnerships with an extensive network of associates who are recognized in various fields, for example in botany, zoology, agriculture, chemistry, sociology, and archaeology.
Disaster Risk Management and humanitarian response plans
- Project Management. Our experience in project management is an integral framework in all the work we have undertaken. Project scope management invariably includes defining and controlling what is included in a project and what is not. Key elements being project time management; project cost management.; project quality management and project risk management.
